Kelly + Rob | General Potter Farm
I have had the amazing blessing of photographing all 4 of these beautiful sisters’ weddings. Each one was incredibly beautiful in a soul-touching way and yet each was also very different and unique as they put their own handcrafted touches into the details. Each one was also a complete joy to photograph as they are one of the loving and embracing families I’ve known. I knew I would LOVE photographing this wedding when Kelly and Rob asked me if they could do their engagement session at an old train station. They brought vintage suitcases and we had SO much fun. On their wedding day they incorporated just as much style! They were married at Penn State where they met, in the beautiful gardens under an arbor of white drapery and a chandelier. It was quite possibly the hottest day of the year and yet they met it with a smile, both grateful for the blessing of sunshine. They then celebrated at General Potter Farm– an amazing rustic and yet elegant venue nearby. They adorned each table with vintage plateware and a color palate of greenery and gold- it was stunning! There wasn’t a detail that they didn’t think about. We even enjoyed a cookie bar and Penn State Creamery Ice Cream for dessert. Literally and with no pun intended, the day could not have been sweeter.
